England x Reader : Happy New Years, Love Part 2

As the days passed, each day was long but the nights were short with the conversations with Arthur. Then finally, the day to go back to England, to Arthur, had arrived. You had packed the night before and you were just ready to leave.
"(first name)! Hurry up!" Al shouted, getting impatient for waiting for you.4
"Shut up! I'm coming!" You shouted back, tugging the luggage behind you. It got heavy by all the present you got and some of them were for Artie too.
"I'd thought you would be here before me, ya' know, with your boyfriend wait and all," he gave you a smirk. You rolled your eye but you were going to miss him. You then smiled at him.
"Al, you should just find yourself a girlfriend and maybe you would understand," you grinned innocently. You had been bugging him all week about this and he was getting annoyed. "Yea, yea, whatever Ms. Kirkland."  You punched him in the arm as he opened the front door and walked out to the car as you followed.

On the way to the airport, you and Al talked about what you got for Christmas. You had given him a British watch that you and Arthur picked out for him; it had 'Be A Hero' engraved on the back. He loved it. He got you a necklace of the America flag that also was engraved. It had 'The Hero Was Here'. You loved it too. He also complained about how his brother and his best friend were over on the other side of the ocean having fun and he was here alone with your parents.
You laughed, "Then get a girlfriend, I've told you that how many times?"
"Enough…" He pouted again.
You finally arrive at the airport and you rushed through security and got your ticket then said your goodbyes to Alfred.
"Yo, make sure you and my big bro call me sometimes, it would be nice to hear from ya'll." He smiled, with a hint of sorrow behind them but you didn't notice. You just grinned at him, "Will do Al," you gave him a huge hug, he hugged back, then finally you said your final goodbye and boarded the plane.

After many hours of flight, that you mostly slept, you arrived home.
In London, England.
You smiled as you quickly grabbed your bags and impatiently walked with the crowd of slow pass angers. 'Come on come on…Come on!' you were hopping in place and took big steps at the people moved out of the isles. It seemed like it was taking forever to get out.
But it was worth it.

When you finally got off the plane and out of the airport, you saw him.
Arthur Kirkland was waiting patiently, like the gentleman he was, waiting for you by the car. When your (e/c) eyes met his emerald eyes, you couldn't help but grin like a idiot. He smiled back at you and walked to you, you walked and met him half way before wrapping your arms around his neck. Your eyes became watery with joy. "Welcome back love," he hugged you back around your waist tightly, as if you were somehow going to get away. You obvious weren't going to.
"I've missed you so much," you blinked back the tears as you buried your face into his shoulder. He was as warm as you remembered.
"Missed you too-" you interrupted him with a passionate kiss on the lips, he was surprised but kissed back. For many moments you two just stood there kissing.
You and Arthur pulled away at the same time to catch your breaths. He pressed his forehead to yours and he grinned.
"Happy New Years (first name)."

~Extended Ending~
"4…3…2…1! Happy New Years!" The crowd on the TV shouted in excitement. You and Arthur poured champagne into each other's glasses and 'cheers' each other before drinking.
"Happy New Years yo!" You threw your arms up, imitating Alfred and started laughing.
"You've been around him too much," Arthur groaned. You giggled then huddled next to him, wrapping a arm around his stomach and resting your head on his shoulder. "It was only a week," you stated. "Yeah, a week too long." He wrapped an arm around your shoulder and leaned his head on the top of yours. You kissed him on the cheek and he blushed a bit.
"Um…(first name)?"
You looked up at your boyfriend, "Hm?"
"A-About what Al was talking about earlier this week…" his voice trailed off and looked away from you. You touched his hand, knowing what he was talking about. He looked at you. You gave him a look of sureness.
You've known Artie forever. He was a very close friend up till a year ago when he finally asked you out, which you were hoping for. You've loved him long before that though. "I'm ready." You said simply. He knew what you meant.
He sighed in relief, gripping your hand. Then, slowly, you both stood. And, without another word, Arthur led you to the bedroom.
